introducing our
outdoor daycare experience
what is outdoor daycare?
Our outdoor daycare may not have a storefront, but our PUPBUS is a “moving daycare” designed for comfort and rest. With non-slip tarps, cushioned beddings, and blankets, our pups will have the nap of their lives in-between destinations and during rest times.
it’s more than just dog-walking
Our outdoor experiences are so much more than just taking your pups out for an urban walk around the neighbourhood. We take your pup out exploring different hiking trails, parks, and beaches around Vancouver and West Vancouver, ensuring they get adequate exercise while enhancing socialization and exposure to new environments. We pride ourselves on offering a one-of-a-kind outdoor experience centred around exploration and adventures.
an all-inclusive experience
training
All our outdoor daycare services include daily training sessions. Our main focus for the training sessions is to help the pups improve on their recall skills and to ensure they are always focused and attentive around our staff. We will also help the pups build fluency on basic skills they already know, and further enhance socialization skills as the pack explores new spaces and interact with new paw-friends in a Fear Free way!
Our positive reinforcement marker trainers and Fear Free professionals will work with your pups on a daily basis to help engage their brains, build a balanced lifestyle, and maintain previously learned behaviours. Learn more about the benefits of training and our training methodologies here.
enrichment
Aside from positive reinforcement training, there are many forms and strategies of enrichment we are committed to: scent enrichment, food-based enrichment, exploration-based enrichment, social enrichment, and physical exercise. To learn more about our commitment to providing enrichment, click here.
transportation
Transportation including pick-ups and drop-offs is included with all our outdoor daycare services. We can provide flexible options for pick-up drop-off times based on your needs.
safety is our top priority
We understand that leaving your pup with us takes huge amount of trust and ensuring the pups’ safety is our number one priority above all else.
pet first aid
All our staff are Pet First Aid certified and are thereby certified to perform CPR and other emergency first aid in the event that a pup was hurt or injured, whether it be a minor or major injury. We will also have a First Aid kit with us at all times including a plank for transportation in emergency situations.
to ensure safety on walks
Appropriate safety gear including front-clip harnesses and leashes will be provided. We carry two 44oz dog water bottle with us at all times to ensure that your pup is hydrated as they explore new places! We also have GPS trackers ready-to-use for all our attendees while they are under our care, in case of any unforeseen situation.
to ensure safety on the road
Our PUPBUS equipment are all Crash-tested and CPS approved, including CPS approved seat harnesses and buckles, as well as Gunner Kennels. Our car seats have a non-slip tarp and the kennel has bed cushions for added safety and comfort. We have a strict maximum capacity, and we ensure that all pups are safely buckled in and are seated comfortably with room to stretch.
to ensure safety for the whole pack
We require a Meet and Greet and a signed Service Agreement prior to admittance into our programs. We also do not accept one-time drop-ins from new clients. To ensure compatibility within our packs, we strongly recommend our clients to consider admitting their pups on a recurring basis. This is to ensure the safety of your pup and the whole pack.

We will send our Service Agreement to you after the consultation for you to fill out for the Meet and Greet
We will arrange a Meet and Greet with you during the Zoom consultation if we are a good fit!
During the Meet and Greet, we'll be happy to answer any additional questions you may have. This is a great time to let us know if you have any special requests and we’ll try our best to accommodate
We will have you and your pup go on a “test drive” with us during the Meet and Greet on the PUPBUS to evaluate whether your pup is showing any Fear, Anxiety, or Stress (FAS) signals during transportation and come up with alternative solutions if they are not yet comfortable with being transported in our vehicle
We require the Service Agreement be signed and returned to us at the end of the Meet and Greet, should you want to move forward with our services
